Well here's the conundrum: despite a decade of brands and initiatives pontificating on the topic, there is no agreed definition of sustainability in the apparel sector; there is no established method of measuring and accounting for it; indeed, comparative fiber assertions are made despite the fact that there are no global LCAs for any of the major fibers, except cotton, let alone LCAs produced using exactly the same boundaries and methodology, which is what you must have to make comparative assertions.
