bleach distressed shadow plaid western shirt - klein blue/violet
Spray bleached, distressed and frayed, this is the flannel western shirt’s edgy first cousin. It’s a style that has been loved by many over the past decade - from Greg Lauren and Saint Laurent to Supreme and Amiri. We’ll give a twenty percent discount to anyone who can tell us exactly when and who made the first bleached plaid shirt, but in any case, we think they’ve been around long enough to count as classics. Our shirt is individually produced by an artist working on one of our klein blue plaid western shirts.
Please note:these shirts are individually produced, and yours may differ slightly from the shirt shown.
SIZE GUIDE + MEASUREMENTS

ABOUT THE PRICE
These shirts are truly time-intensive to produce. The hem of each shirt is manually ripped open and distressed, and the garment is then individually bleach sprayed, front and back, neutralized, rinsed, washed and rinsed again. Only a few can be made at a time - hence the significant premium over the base price of the Shadow Plaid Western Shirt.
SHAPE + DETAILING
Cut from a Japanese Cotton/Rayon blend that has been brushed to soften the feel and to add to the shadow appearance, this is not a heavy, winter weight cotton shirt; it’s a year-rounder with the added traits of fluidity and drape. The shirt has a generous cut, and is only slightly fitted at the waist, so it works as an overshirt as well. The hem is unstitched and heavily frayed and distressed. A few holes may form as an integral part of the process - these are not defects but rather add to the artistic value of the garment.
